Romans Road to Salvation

The Book of Romans in the New Testament is a great place to begin reading about
God's plan to bring you close to Him again. The following verses, "Roman's Road",
outline the Good News of Jesus Christ.

These passages are drawn from the New Century Version Bible, cited in (Book Chapter:Verse) format

As the Scriptures say, "There is no one who always does what is right, not even one"
(Rom 3:10)

All have sinned and are not good enough for God's Glory.
(Rom 3:23)

When people sin, they earn what sin pays - death. But God gives us a free gift - life
forever in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
(Rom 6:23)

But God shows his great love for us in this way:
Christ died for us while we were still sinners.
(Rom 5:8)

If you use your mouth to say, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe in your heart that
God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. We believe with our hearts,
and so we are made right with God. And we use our mouth to say
that we believe, and so we are saved.
(Rom 10:9-10)

As the Scripture says, "Anyone who call on the Lord will be saved"
(Rom 10:13)

Since we have been made right with God by our faith, we have peace with God.
This happened through our Lord Jesus Christ, who has brought us into that
blessing of God's grace that we now enjoy. And we are happy because of the
hope we have of sharing God's glory.
(Rom 5:1-2)

If you find these scriptures challenging; if you wish to give your life to Christ;
all you need to do is kneel and offer Him your life, as it is, warts and all. Ask forgiveness
for turning your back on Him, and ask him to enter your life
and change you from the inside out.

Jesus will honour the prayer of any sinner who asks forgiveness earnestly,
for it is his desire that as many as possible should be saved.

We live in a fallen, failing and frustrating world.

You have nothing to lose. You have everything to gain.
